If Apple was once upon a time the anti-Microsoft, then I have to say that Apple has now become the very people that they hate.
Apparently covering the antenna band is not an issue here, according to a schoolmate who got one. I still won't get even the old iPhone... even if someone handed me theirs, the data plan costs $40 a month - I'm paying only $22 right now.

look .... the chap was basically a hippie addict who happened to be a good saleman.
he also just happened to know a few brilliant chaps who did all the engineering work .....
