i haven't had crisps in ages ![]()
my problem with potato chips is that a few pieces is never enough. I have to eat the whole bag. :P
and what's not to like about salt and vinegar chips?
Anyway, I feel ashamed.
I had a BK Mushroom Swiss meal for dinner.
And I couldn't make up for it through exercise cos I've been busy.
I have sinned.

It's really sad when I input the info into my daily food log spreadsheet....
Total input for today: 2330 calories...... half of it that BK meal.
So yeah.... a food log really makes you more disciplined with all these hard facts.

I like Callibee Potato Chips and i don't mind these : Range of Potato Chips
If going back to Japan, I will go find...
if I find myself in japan I wouldn't bother with the chips .....
I'd buy those semi dried scallops packaged like sweets and pop them as snacks ... ![]()
the calbee chips in japan taste a lot better! and they expire within 6 months of date of packing unlike the export versions, meaning much less preservatives
going off..
been some time not eating Calbee.

the sad thing is given my height, weight, age and average activity level(minimal), I shouldn't be eating more than 1,800 calories daily ![]()
and 1 large bag of chips is like...1,400 calories LOL

For my stats, assuming a moderate degree of activity level, I can take up to 2200 calories per day.... at least, that's what the online tools say....
That said, I always calculate my output as (BMR + exercise output).... energy output for things like everyday lab work is disregarded to compensate for any discrepancies in the calculation of my food input.
And let's face it: no matter how much you track your calories, there will always be some discrepancy. No two nasi lemaks are the same, for instance: one hawker may give a bigger portion, while another hawker may dilute the coconut milk....
Got back around 45 minutes ago and I added a small bunch of grapes to today's tally.
I just read an article that calls my design faculty a "dumping ground" based on employment and salary stats, but I'm proud to be part of it. You can't call it a "dumping ground" when you have to pass entrance tests and submit portfolios and create cool shit. ![]()
