  oh yeah ... I was just informed that fatumnette's dad expects 10 tables from me .....

  the difference is that he'll be keeping the ang baos .....

  is this SOP ? ....

  I mean .... my folks demanded 16 tables from my incoming younger BIL and all the ang baos go back to them ....

  if 10 tables are guranteed losses I'd be looking at quite a big black hole .... -__-"

  Pile of rice hid the Mutton BONE and one egg. Should have called it Boiled Egg Briyani cos there was more boiled egg than mutton.

  The yogurt onion sidedish was Soggy

  The Curry sidedish was not dahl, had nothing in it except curry gravy.

  Bleddy thing cost $9.

   

  there's a malay stall there with AWESOME chili mussels ........

  well ....

  apparently, this is the custom for old school ........

  my folks asked for 16 tables for relatives and his old time teaching colleagues, but all the ang baos are going to the couple .....

  if 10 tables, that means there'll be a sure loss of around 10 to 15k .....
