Keep a journal of everything that you eat and drink, and note down the calorie content. Compare it against your Basal Metabolic Rate and exercise output - aim to have your calorie input lower than your output.
for her case, since she thinks work and packing cds are exercise, she'll confirm overestimate calories burnt. I think better she just eats at bmr. like that sure confirm lose weight...unless she underestimates her caloric intake consistently.

his "hard training" is not for everyone.. coz some people may actually die or be seriously injured even if they gradually move up to it.. like Dirty Harry said, a man must know his limitations...
the sugar and crap is true though... people eat too much sugar and other stuff like that because of very very processed food...

people don't realise that the sugar and crap actually contains more calories than meat and eggs while having an adverse effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels and being nutritionally almost empty.
I don't do hard training either. hard training is also useless if you're still eating sugar and crap. ![]()
looking at the last page (i wasn't online in the weekend) i see some people trying to exercise themselves to death, while on the other extreme, some people are trying to eat themselves to death ![]()

I agree on the sugar part and seriously cut down on all the dairy products you have been taking.

i've been sinning a lot since my sis came back...
dunno about weight gain as i've not weighed myself..
back to Special K and low fat milk for breakfast.. maybe for dinner too.. so i can control the amount for dinner...
i eat very little for dinner.. but the folks' maid seems to attempt to put more stuff on the table for me... saying i don't eat enough... and mom keeps saying i should eat it all...
i'll tell them not to cook for me for dinners.. i'll do my own

Like I was telling missy on Facebook..... high-fructose corn syrup is one of the things I look out for besides calorie and fat content.
Quite a few nutritionists believe that HFCS is in fact the main culprit for the current obesity crisis in the US.
We gotta watch sugar intake as much as fat.... hell, I only drink isotonic drinks after a super-extended run of at least 15 clicks. That's when I really need to replace lost salt.
Reading the ingredients list of H-Two-O scared me half to death.... it contains something like 42 grams of sugar per serving. ![]()

Yeah, and one of the main problems with sugar and hfcs, is that it doesn't make you full, stimulates the appetite and makes you want to eat more. Protein, fiber and fat on the other hand fill you up pretty quickly.
And sugar, when not consumed soon after a tough workout, causes wild blood sugar spikes. which is a bad thing.

i'm stuck..
how hard is it to just read the goddamned email and tell me what i need to know?
i have been stuck at this stupid thing for ages because people sit on the goddamned email to see how long they can drag things out...
worse is that we need those specs so that we can throw it out there for this stupid vendor and other vendors to give us a proper quotation...
we're stuck = they're stuck too...
on the other hand, another bunch of idiots who need some things "quickly" will stonewall me when i try to clarify things.. but their stonewalling me will prevent me from delivering the very things they need and are asking from me.. i feel like letting them stonewall me because i've asked a few times already.. they don't reply, i've got the email proof that they have not written back to me after a few reminders...
