Knife for frying, canola for normal cooking and olive oil for salad

I remember i was in beijing in 1998 for meetings, met some locals during day tour (we had 3 extra days holidays after our meeting), they asked me where i was from, i said singapore..
they went ..."haaaaa...huh where?"'....... I have to explain our location...tedious siah..

Apparently, the founder of that group remarked that he wants to 'burn' the MPs or something to that effect.
He claimed that he used 'burn' in the metaphorical and not the literal sense of the word.

I've only met a handful of people who mistook Singapore for Hong Kong. But a lot of people still say that we speak good English LOL.

the funniest thing is... we had a colleague from puerto rico and he is black..
the locals are afraid of him (some ran away from him) and kept insisting that he is from africa.. poor guy..

Well, I do play online games on US servers... A good portion of them knows where is singapore... some of them thinks we're part of malaysia/indon...and there's a portion of them tat says: "Oh~ somewhere in china rite?"

A lot of them doWhen I was studying I play a lot on USA servers and they always think that Singapore is in China and they always say that I type very good English
Or they will just assume I'm from UK because of spelling :P

Hong Konger speak English, dunno why but their Canto accent makes e 'sound' a little weird.
