Love this quote from the article:
"I've never seen a restaurant say, don't bring your screaming kids in here," said Ashley Heflin, who is a mom of two. "You can't help it if your kids scream."
So, Ashley, what other aspects of your child's behaviour can you not control?
Some people just aren't cut out to be parents. ![]()

I went to the gym, mate. We live too far apart to meet anyway, but it's like his usual practice in the evenings, isn't it?

You aren't kidding...
A couple of weeks ago, I was grocery shopping at the local Wal*Mart. Some black kid, who couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 years old, was running and screaming unsupervised up and down the aisles, and generally making a nuisance of himself. I was looking at some stuff on the shelf and had my loaded shopping cart "parked" to one side, when the kid rounded a corner and smacked right into the front of the cart, fell down and started bawling. Before I could do anything, the father arrived, cursed me out for not helping the kid, grabbed him by the arm and stormed off.
Yeah, real classy parent...

Meh. Remember the good old days when the policy was, "you wanna cry, I'll give you something to cry about"?
