ah 2601.. dug out 1980s SBS annual report..
kns, so many innovation was done by SBS... then as LTA came about, everything gone.
but nid to realise, when SBS was formed, no one in MIW knew how to manage it. They chose to pull ppl from SAF/ MINDEF to run SBS.

As a Chinese, I’ve never
Prayed during Qing Ming or go visit ancestors or whatever they call itBurnt offerings during 7th month……. Actually come to think of it I think the only Chinese festival my family celebrates is Chinese New Year. Heck even MPB knows more Chinese festivals and traditions than I do. And his family have actually burnt offerings during 7th month and even go to those 7th month auction dinners and Tiao Dang thingy which I’ve never seen before

wow! you and i are more alike than i realise!and my CNY = family din (read: parents+siblings/spouses only) on the eve; CNY greetings to family on day 1

pinky, KL those projects are most likely to be BOT projects.
Meaning if they want to do, nid foreign funding.. their govt alrdy tolong, defecit like siao.

Just finished making some fried rice to tar pau to school tomorrow....
A large cup of rice, lotsa mixed vegetables, a small egg, some sliced chicken, a teaspoon of soya sauce, a teaspoon of black pepper sauce....
I kept the extra virgin olive oil to a minimum, and no salt.... the soya sauce has enough salt...
I must say, my family is still getting used to me cooking my own lunches.

Mine is with cousins and uncles and aunties but for the immediate family on both my parents side for dinner.... 1 will be on the eve, other on the 15 (must be fair)Same thing for day 1

I think e land in Singapore is their new fortune...expensive rental they cannot find in KL, somemore it's SGD.

Milk fruit, i go ask my colleague. Now is the season for young rice cake. Tried it, very gluey but nice!!
And did i tell you, the vietnamese BUTTER coffee is very nice.....

Hehehe ok.I never tried the butter coffee before. But I really like the milk fruit
Last time my dad was posted in Vietnam and I always made him buy that back for me . He brought back some weird looking giant shellfish too that taste really crunchy

Any truth in this claim? I can't seem to Google this news.

timing not known exactly whenbut w/ e IR (more tourist), inevitably costier air tickets to/ fro Singapore.

I know SQ will be increasing their airfares from 1st Oct.
Thats why my travel agent keep asking me issue some of my boss travel tickets(for next month) by this month.

Neither can I, but you know that they stand to benefit from the influx of panic bookings. Where did you see these ads, in ST Classifieds?
