nantah was closed for political reasons .......
and mind you, he expanded a lot of political capital over this ..... many of my family members were nantah alumni ....
and in the chinese community at that time, even the whores on the streets contributed money towards building nantah .... there was a lot of emotional resonance over the place .....
but oh well .... my folks are still MIW supporters all the same.

Phew.... long day at work.....
On the bright side of things, my knee seems to be getting better.
Night off tonight and tomorrow night..... back to running on Wednesday.

oh fudge it...i can't stare at work anymore. i'm so ready to call it quits.

take it easy on the knee.. i don't think knees heal that quickly.. give it time to recover first...

Pain.... it was certainly more than a normal ache.
I wanted to walk to Parkway Parade yesterday, but I couldn't walk properly at all. I had to hobble back home after walking just a few meters away from my void deck.
Oh well. Excuse R&J till Friday, then. Pilates in the meantime.

At my end I think running then badminton, then running and then badminton again throughout the week basically killed my right calf. It just recovered only after a long 2 weeks of intense pain that felt like people pinching the muscle 24/7.

i'm going swimming tomorrow morning instead...
and if there's time, i'll go see about the gym at the sewer serpent club..
i could do with some weight training on the machines which isolate parts of the body

stretch? there's something called a foam roller that my friend uses but not sure where to get it locally. she's in california. -

Nah.... it can't be more than a pulled ligament......
There's no visible swelling, and the pain has gone already down considerably.
I can still function reasonably well. I visited my St John's lab, then went to school in the afternoon, then had dinner at Vivocity before going home. I managed to do all that with no problems.
It's just that my knee currently feels weak. Certainly it can't take a lot of punishment right now. All it really needs is rest.
