Seriously so many places sell gravy. Even Sheng Siong have mushroom sauce in food service size which you can mix with water or milk or cream

What the.....
I just discovered from Facebook that two of my friends, who were engaged to each other and getting married early next year..... have broken off their engagement.
And they don't seem to be on talking terms at all (they have 'unfriended' each other on FB), and the girl already has a new squeeze (she parade him in FB).
I've known them both since I was an undergrad freshman, and they got together even before the FS and I did.
As recently as the fasting month they still seemed lovey-dovey and all.... I wonder what the heck happened.....

hmm...hint : u'll see the real characters of the ladies when it is a all-girl outing when they show the true colours.
some act so differently with the company of guys.. the sweet,angelic face thingy, polite, being kind, being considerate etc....
then comes after marriage, all hell break loose. A few guys told me that they wanted out as their wives are so different after marriage. Their Angels become Hellish.. -.-"
As a friend or acquaintance, some things are better to be kept unsaid.. ie the character, her past rendevous and her plans for the marriage erhem..the money.....

I feel very bonded with my community. Got one aunty appointed herself my personal instructor and guided me throughout even. It wasn't just the Singapore workout with heaps of zesty national day songs! They also have qi gong and tai chi stuff.. :D

I remember a time when I was in the bitter, cynical phase - but seeing my good friends who are also good partners helped me to regain the faith that perhaps one day I might meet someone like that too. It's a little heartache to hear of good friends who were together forever, and suddenly you hear both have broken up and gone their own ways.

and if you guys are wondering why I'm in here ..... it's cos of some pantang ......
I have been exiled to my room till the BIL crosses the threshold .....
as it is, I can hear him yelling downstairs .... I think the ladies are forcing chilli on him ....

i still think that's an insane "tradition" and it's not a tradition..it's demeaning, idiotic, screwed up and in essence, the "sisters" are treating the bride like she's some sort of commodity which they are bargaining for their own pleasure and profit.. there's a term used which someone is bring traded for profit...
in any case, there was an incident which my friend was part of the "brothers"... the "lead brother" was very fierce... he brought heavy chains and chained up the gates, imprisoning the "sisters" and then went for breakfast... the groom was beside himself but after a tense standoff, the "sisters" blinked and let the "brothers" in...
it was a mess but the "sisters" were demanding idiotic things...
