Yeah....I have 4 mid-term exams within little more than a week after this week.
And then what's that lab report??? I've never done one in my whole life and now I'm expected to produce one.
And the standard assignments.
Time sure flies. Everybody looking towards holiday already.

holiday again? i thought your semester just started a few weeks back?
I'm feeling a little frustrated... today is the birthday of a close friend of mine... last week we've already arranged for dinner with a few other good friends. Last night she suddenly told me she doesn't want to go. Her reasons were rather lame like.. feeling heaty, dont feel like going out on weekday, the other day we had a outing liao so today no need to celebrate..... I have a gut feeling its cos I went with another friend to JB yesterday (but did not plan to go with her) but... since last week I have already told her, if there's anywhere she wanna go, let me know, its her birthday I'm free to go out with her but she say she doesn't want to take leave, meet for dinner is enough. THen suddenly, after I told her I went to JB yesterday, she told me to call off the dinner for today. Even after I told her all of us looking forward to celebrate her birthday with her, and that another friend made reservations liao, she was very adamant.

I think she's very insecure.... she's very quiet.. and not close to her family, have few close friends, even though we share a group of good friends. It has happened a few times.. similar incidents - sometimes I just ignore - but today it's her birthday..
in my heart I feel I should just suan le, my friend have told her we're just going to be THERE wait for her, whether or not she confirm she coming or not... at first I'm so upset that I was thinking ARGH why must entertain such immaturity.. but on the other hand.. sigh.. .. close friends not easy to get, and nobody's perfect anyway... she tolerates my bad points.. so why can't I tolerate hers......but RIGHT NOW, I'm still feeling angry about it... :(

I don't mind that at all.. but.. u know.. how.. some girls are like.. they say dun want to celebrate birthday but actually deep down inside, they just want you to really REALLY show them u want to celebrate their birthday with them sort of thing... -flops- so sekali 'leave her alone' then she gets more upset how? *argg*
I always remind my hubby he's so lucky I'm the upfront type. These type of mind games does nothing for anyone except hurt.

Surprise her?
Tell her you have something to talk to her about and then do a surprise celebration?

Huh 40 tables is not simple!!!
that was a conservative estimate ....
my granny would like 6 tables, for her six siblings. plus assorted other relatives, 4 tables, my dad had 9 tables for his mates and old colleagues at my sister's wedding. fatumnette's dad would like 10 tables from me ......
plus one red table .... that makes 30 already ....
and that's before our friends, colleagues, associates etc etc.
