You don’t need to go for Thailand for breeding Stingrays. If there is a open house again, maybe I see if any of u guys want to tag along if you are interested in Stingrays. There are many hobbyists breeding rays in Singapore. A lot of rays bred in Thailand are SP rays, which basically mean x-breeds where they try to cross the rays for nicer body designs and colours

Ya cute when small. My motoro was very cute when she is small. Now she is an ass. She chews on Copper’s shell or splashes water out of the tank and she is big enough to snack on 4” fishes -

Alligator gars in backyard is common. I know a few ppl who does that. Some keep huge Arapaimas in their backyard too and other monster fishes like the African Tiger Fish or the Sabretooth Tiger …as in a school of them or the Vampire Fish
Some hobbyist I know (not in SG) have like ponds and tanks of the above and pirahnas (different types) in his home
