I was actually seriously contemplating getting a few runners together to get a hotel room near the start point.
The benefits would be tremendous - we can wake up later, less rush/hassle, better toilet facilities, no luggage to deposit or collect, we have a place to wash up and crash after the race.....
But unfortunately, none of my runner friends are interested in the idea. Sigh.....
wow...
With the new system going on, working with calculation is a thing of a past~~~ no more irritating calculation of interferance, HLC radius~~~
Now tat's wat I call an improvement in working system...

that's the problem with the SMRT; in HK, the train services start at 3-330 am just for that day (SCHKM). here they charge you $7 (i think) for the feeder/shuttle bus.
CB, the route takes it past the durian.
i hope i don't get called up.

WTH?
That Pikachu looks so damn wrong

That's a really good idea and it's something I would do if this potato decides to take up running, ever! Aaaah harharhar!
I don't think that's possible because I've been suffering pain in both knees for a long time now. And I still haven't seen a doc for it! ![]()

Yeah... I should, and I could, but until it escalates into a 'must', I guess I won't be making that appointment soon!
Besides, I see peeps zipping around in their motorised wheelchairs and I think, "Wow... that's really neat! Subsidised or fully paid for by the govt and eradicates public transport fares!" Plus they all come with neat storage boxes to pack in all the shopping. Kewl! ![]()

maybe now I'm becoming paranoid or wat but I think if problem arise, it's best to deal with them early...
What the hell?! There's this lame topic speculating what would happen if Singapore were to merge with Australia! Seriously, WTH?!! What's worrisome is, the topic starter couldn't be under the influence of drugs either since drugs are illegal in Singapore. This is so unbelievable!!

I'm still in the denial stage...
But hmm... if it does get worse, I might 'suggest' to my GP that I'm so obese my knees are buckling under my weight and then 'suggest' that I should get free / highly subsidised non-elective liposuction procedures! Kills more than two birds with no stone! ![]()

wow! are there any procedures that aren't subsidized?
Wait..... I just realized something.....
Starting point is at Orchard. Ending point is at Esplanade.
So.... I deposit my luggage at Orchard and retrieve it at Esplanade? ![]()

I hear they are subsidising lots of gastric bypass and whatnot procedures in the UK!

They're even subsidising boob jobs for women in the military!
Can't recall if that was in the UK or Australia.

Well, technically, liposuction and boob jobs aren't subsidised. BUT, if one can prove that one is suffering from some kinda enormous emotional and psychological trauma machiam what-not, and a GP backs your claim, plus you've seen some counsellor or psychologist because of distress, and socially you're suffering blah blah blah, you will get the procedure(s) subsidised.
That's why taxpayers pay so much here - too many people use all manner of excuses to make sure they do not work and get subsidies and grants galore.

they're probably doing it the yellow ribbon prison run style. deposit bag in orchard/compartments in lorry/truck. truck is driven over to padang.
that was how the YRPR was organised when the end point was in changi prison complex.
woken up by neighbour dropping something which made a huge noise...
checked on vuze and found that zombieland and inception has been nicely loaded...
time to go back to sleep ![]()

in the UK. it caused quite a flap.

I say, if there's a flap involved, nip and tuck it, and charge it to the govt, pleading 'emotional distress' and 'inability to integrate into the society owing to a cripplingly high degree of self-consciousness over the aforesaid obvious flap'.
Hmm... maybe I should switch to the medical-legal profession. ![]()
Say, did you guys hear that yesterday, I had the whole cinema to myself when I watched Resident Evil 3D? Wahooooo!! ![]()
