I anticipate a major clusterf**k. StanChart is a much bigger event than the Yellow Ribbon Run. All the more since this is the first time they're doing it this way.
I think I'll just have to cut down my luggage and bring them along with me on my run. After all, I run marathons with a hydration belt which has a pouch on it. Surely I can put my ezlink card, housekeys, and money in there.
Of course, this means that I can't bring a towel, deodorant, or a spare T-shirt.... so, yeah, I'm gonna stink like hell after the race, and the other commuters will have to bear with it....

i only take these with me: ezylink, house keys, $10-20. all of these goes into my pocket. and my thoughts for anyone who decides to stand next to me on the train: too bad (it's usually not crowded when i finish my runs - 9-10 am). -

be warned...there maybe a near-complete shutdown of sg roads. this year they decided to be "innovative" and segregated the run routes for the categories. right from orchard to sentosa to ecp to flyer to padang etc.

Whenever there is a major event, they just have to shut down the road from my place.... Residents living there are all tratffic stuck and can move almost no where.... Good thing I don wake up till late noon on Sundays! -

I have failed.
I already ate a bowl of cereal before I left home.
But by the time I reached school, I was so hungry that I bought the $2.50 Sausage McMuffin meal from McTrash.

this morning during the night shift, i found out that the Burger Krap at work sells staff a "staff menu" at $4.95
has a "burger", "fries" and a soft drink...
i was asked if i wanted by the others.. i declined

Actually, McD's here is pretty good! The beef patties are pretty fresh, especially for the Angus Beef range of burgers. Unfortunately, the Angus Beef burgers are large - the appropriate serving portion should be half what they serve. No wonder Australia has overtaken the US as the most obese country in the world.

Seriously I might as well go buy porridge from the new stall. I get sweet potato porridge, 1 whole steamed fish, braised pork trotters and 1 vegetable for $3.50. Add $1 for drinks and it’s only $4.50 and it’s tastier -
