Seriously I might as well go buy porridge from the new stall. I get sweet potato porridge, 1 whole steamed fish, braised pork trotters and 1 vegetable for $3.50. Add $1 for drinks and it’s only $4.50 and it’s tastier
Eating out is so cheap, so convenient, so fresh, so tasty, and you're spoilt for choice.
Thankfully, there are more and more Asians here and that's why there are more and more Asian-style eateries, boutiques, salons, etc. The migrants bring along their food and entertainment, thankfully!

oh yah.. Ya Kun is open too.. i'm starting to become a caffeine addict all over again
At least you have places serving food 24/7 at your workplace. We have to bring in our own food if we're on night duty, unless you want to get a sugar suicide via the vending machine junk.
they gotta cater to the stragglers who are forced to camp out at the airport overnight so a few are open..
also for the staff..
too bad the staff canteen isn't open all the time, we get very very cheap food there but i rarely if ever eat during the day shifts...
i think i shall go eat the big pau i saw in the kitchen then go to sleep in a while
Sigh... so good to live with family because there'll always be food lying around somewhere bought by someone else. ![]()
On the other hand, I shall snap out of my nostalgia by gleefully reminding myself that there's no one else here to consume food that I've deliberately portioned out and look forward to chomping on after bad wordays. ![]()

I think the kopitiam at T3 is open too right?
I don't know about you but MPB have the staff card for the kopitiam which gives me 30% off!

Waaaaah!
Envious! Envious!!
Say, did you know that I love our T3 so much that I did contemplate staying in the transit hotel for a few hours just to enjoy the facilities and shop around and enjoy the airport's ambience?
I really love our Changi Airport! On my days of departure, I always head to the airport early, check-in super-duper early, and then wander around the shops and check out the nooks and crannies and enjoy a last Singaporean meal there.
I love the Prima there - last chance to have Laksa or Chicken Noodles, Popiah, and what-not.
Missy, how do you tell a good friend that you don’t appreciate her buying the same stuff as you -_-“
I have a good friend and seriously her wardrobe is starting to look like mine -_-“
She is buying the exact same tops in the exact same colour as me!
Or she will buy the exact same top in a different colour.
And she went out to buy every single perfume I use too!
Even her bag… OMG she bought the same style as me

yah.. i should be posted to T3 in time.. supposedly..
but i don't get the card.. which sucks.. i dunno why they stopped issuing the card for us... some of the other guys have them but they just stopped issuing it for us...
and i'm too lazy to go to T3 from T1 in the middle of the night ![]()
It’s just a ‘train’ ride away!
The food at that kopitiam is pretty good.
I like the porridge and I’ll order the raw fish salad. Haha

OMG!!! That's so horrible!
I guess it'll be hard to confront her about it because you guys might end up in some nasty fight and then it'll be the end of your friendship. Maybe, do it subtly - stop going out shopping together, stop telling her what you're buying, and when you know in advance you're going to meet, wear clothes that you bought last season and is no longer available for sale so she can't rush out to the same boutiques and shops and get the same apparel.

the 'train' stops at 2:30am and we gotta walk all the way back if we go there around 2am which is usually after the last planes land at T1...
nevermind.. getting used to it...
besides, before the shift starts, i usually drop by the Crystal Jade bread shop and get the cheap buns at discount + staff discount ![]()
I LOVE DAYS OFF!

Yeah I even tried subtly telling her that I have the same piece in the same colour and it will be awful if we turned up in the same clothes
Her reply was, oh, I’ll call you first if we are going out together. -_-“
Yeah or I’ll just continue shopping at the expensive boutique I always go to and just buy all my clothes there because there is only 1 piece in each size, instead of buying from the mid-ranged shops where I buy my work clothes.
I’m pretty irked because although I don’t think I’m some fashionist but at least I have my own style and I don’t need someone copying me though I think that should be viewed as a compliment.
Share a snippet of 'interesting', outrageous news here ...
A man who bashed a toddler to death is in the spotlight again because whilst in jail, he met a lady whose prisoner-husband had died, and they got married. They even got 'conjugal visits' in jail!! The public is outraged that the prison is like a hotel and that such a hideous criminal is allowed to get married, consumate the marriage regularly, and enjoy life behind bars.

It's a compliment when you get praised, but having a copycat breathing down your neck is unsettling and doesn't give one the feel-good effect that receiving praises do.
It's almost as if your 'copyright' is being infringed upon and / or stolen altogether!
How is one supposed to feel complimented by such actions?
Poor Pinky!
Especially since I think most of my clothes are pretty ‘quirky’ looking or they don’t have the typical cut
Hopefully it’s just a passing stage where she is experimenting with a different style since she is usually dressed in very basic looking clothes in full black, and I tend to avoid black
Yippee! Yippee! Yay!! I'm attending a book signing this evening! Woohoo! It won't be the first signed copy of a book I'll own, but it'll be the first book signing I'm going to! ![]()
time to nap...
maybe if i wake up earlier than usual, i'll go swim...
have a good day everyone ![]()

Orh... THAT lady! She's hot, but I really really liked the actress who played Claire. I couldn't take my eyes off her! She looks a bit like Julianne Moore, and a tad like Geri Halliwell too. She looks like a composite of a few stars put together. The ladies in the movie are all hot. They are fit as a fiddle, and so sexy.
I hope that the basketball star character survives somehow. I can't wait for the next installment!
But ooooh... Saw 3D is coming real soon! Wahoooooo!! I saw the trailer in the cinema and I can't wait! ![]()
The stalkers I met are male
Speaking of which one of my creepy exs will be in town (the one that remembers my wedding anniversary) and is asking me out for dinner.
Ignoring -_-“
