  Seems like the pullman bakery over at millenia walk has decide to extend it's opening to next week... zzz... I heard they have lotsa award over at hokkaido and sapporo... man I'm drooling...

  On the side note, this MOS burger breakfast is quite good surprisingly... but it's becoz it contains peanut butter...

   

  And now is the main point... I didn't know they had peanut butter in them until I saw the guy preparing the burger... There's no sign or board which state "contains traces of peanut"... and from wat I know, peanut allergy are often fatal... wth???

  well problem is, PB is fatal to those with peanut/nut allergy... and there wasn't any sign or indication that there's "traces of nuts"... I dun even know they use PB until I saw them prepare the burger...

  The thing is that in Singapore,  a lot food places/food packaging does not carry allergen declarations

  Something which I think AVA can improve on

  or vegan label! although i'm strict or particular about having something cooked with meat/seafood - i just need to avoid having to the actual stuff to keep from having a headache.

  Well I think as a start it will be good to label common allergens like seafood, eggs, gluten, peanuts

  I know some foods have the vegan label but it’s all the ang mo stuff in Cold Storage

  Hmmm... Maybe we'll have good lunch today with the german vendor... maybe I'll somehow coo the manager into treating us lunch

   

  Dang, I'm having craving for mango sago pomelo since I din get to have any last nite...

  Oh ya elindra, we spend quite sometime talking and I forgot to ask if u would wan desserts over at tamp one ytd...

  it is very expensive.. but you get what you pay for... because it is that good!

  the 12 year old one is also pretty good.. but i think we can only get the 12 year old ones at the DFS here.. i'll go investigate if i have time

  question, i read a promotion on Mongolia buffet thingy..

  It says: You have the choice of trying different dishes. For example one can start off with their prawns grilled with teriyaki sauce and then try the chicken with black pepper sauce or even both at the same time, and also mix and match any of the combinations.

  Teriyaki??

  Well I know I hv seen the 10 & 12 versions in Tampines and Medi-ya and the other version ...not sure if they have the 18 yr version or not

  i think it's all good...

  but DFS = almost 40% to 50% off the price of the shops... which is why no matter what, i will buy stuff from the DFS when travelling

  i keep having this nightmare that i forgot to buy liquor at the club
