  I teach university freshmen. And frankly, I can't understand what on earth some of them are trying to say to me.

  No, really. And I'm talking about local students.

  As a matter of fact, I don't even really understand what you just said.

  That advertisement is by no means condescending to Singaporeans, if that's the point you're trying to make.

  i have colleagues who are graduates.. who cannot seem to string two sentences together without making glaring grammatical errors...

  and most of the time, their reports are totally incoherent...

  apart from that, they seem to take pride that they have not picked up a book since their final papers were sent in during their very last exams...

  There's a post abt the bus driver horning at a lorry in front (nearer to the CIQ, likely to the Woodlands Centre Rd where there's no right turn to CIQ during restricted hours) when the TP was trying to direct the lorry driver!
