sometimes i wonder.. wtf is wrong with the people in the US that they trust the assholes in the GOP...
=> 9/11 health bill blocked by the Republicans
this bill sought to provide medical care for the rescuers during 9/11 who developed medical problems from breathing in the toxic fumes from the dust and debris...
and because it was put up by the Dems, the GOP did all they could to kill it...

This reminds me of Michael Moore's Sicko.....
The 9/11 rescuers were given very little medical compensation for their breathing ailments.
So Moore took them to Cuba, and..... got them the treatment they needed for a pittance. No kidding.

Oh I went down last Saturday to pay a deposit for the New Year Eve dinner
I requested for a table by the window and the girl said ok she will do something about it but I noticed she didn't write
So today I called up to make sure and another girl said that for special request I have to pay additional deposit of 50 bucks
I said I don't have a problem with that but why is it I was not told and the deposit not collected when I was there last week.
So basically I kpkb a bit, she said she will speak to her manager and now I'm getting the window seat without having to go down to pay the deposit.
I said you don't have to worry about a no-show because I've already paid a deposit you think I'll do a no-show

actually, come to think of it, i know.. coz i encountered something similar yesterday.. and it was during work.. about work.. and they, of all people should know better.. i had to end up teaching them their job...

She's going oversea for business trip so I went to have a word with her... talking abt work and wishing her safe trip...
Before she left, she told me that she'll remember to buy back food for me... how sweet of her~~~
anyway imma also going to leave office... going to fren's daughter de bday chalet...

Cuba produces lots of doctors, with a ratio like one to every 170 persons. But they paid quite poorly.
