7 Points now? During my time it was 14 which was low already considering at 14 you can go to JC too
Even during my time a lot of ppl wanted to go to Ngee Ann when they had good grades
Heck there was even one girl which I went -_-“ coz she got an 8 and went for NURSING!!!
but poly engineering courses has a structural problem.. 2/3 are abv 15 pointers.
else why Ngee Ann go tie up w/ NTU to offer joint course where they'll do their FYP in NTU

yea 14 was for the normal business courses la. this international business is relatively new.
but accounting etc all also 12 points, banking and finance is 10.
if this isn't a sign that our education is becoming stupid, i don't know what is.
the flooding in Australia is pretty bad...
here's some footage from yesterday in Toowoomba
East West Line Tuas extension confirmed will go as planned.
It'll be extended to Tuas Checkpoint by 2016.
Why.. They're still expecting 500,000 to take Circle Line once it fully commences by Q4.
Current phase only carries 154,000 ppl, vs their 200,000 predicted. It's built up corridor somemore!
MIW collected $130m of casino levies..

Well....I dont see any better ways to ration places for popular courses.
actually extreme you may call it
but I'm thinking of force allocation of those better ones into engineering. Our society can't go well w/o engineers.
people study so hard just to enter poly courses? then when they enter the workforce, they can be replaced by the cheaper, better and faster FT armed with degrees or masters willing to work for their same pay.
