evening
Was at NUS open house tis afternoon to take a look at the UTown.
Tat bridge across AYE has a pedestrain, cycling and vehicle lane on each direction. But the vehicle lane is so narrow tat it's only meant for cars.
The students tour guides mentioned buses will be provided to the main campus. I was like...., unless the bus uses Clementi Rd to enter.
eh.. talking bus..
the Si Beh Siong bus drivers are *&^%#
KNN, take a 97 bus from Esplanade to Hong Leong took more than 1 hour!!
the stupid driver KNN like scared go into 3rd gear would cause the goddamned bus to explode like that..
each time he reached something near 3rd gear, he started to brake...
the 97 bus behind was supposed to be 10 minutes after the bloody bus and most of the trip, it was behind us after it caught up with us...
WTF is wrong with the goddamned driver?? he barely drove faster than 40km/h!!

some bus services got tis problem
Because I'm not sure does 97 practices tis, there's a thing called jumpbus. Whereby there'll defintely be 1 bus in Int/ Ter at any time regardless of dispatch time. Though the planned schedule has alrdy taken care of this arrangement.
So some dilly dally to kill the front drivers.
But seriously w/ GPS these days, they should be able to catch such of these.
looks like the things are there but no one is checking
If I'm not wrong, they're trying to do away w/ this arrangement. Your place there 99 no longer follows it.
screw it.. if they have a system and not use it, then the management should be shot along with the lousy drivers
I dunno..
tis scheme should not even be around anyone. It's used in the paperwork era!
bugger it.. i'm never taking a bus unless i absolutely have to..
the fucking bus systems are a wreck

except e feeder bus network, the trunk routes has rotted for a decade and not rationalised. The problem is amplified at Bt Panjang.
In any case they've completed most works at that Jurong East 4th platform.

Not surprising, given that the greater Tokyo metropolitan area and Narita Airport are downwind of Fukushima nuclear power plant.
My itinerary currently comprises two weeks of travel around the Osaka/Kyoto/Kobe/Hiroshima areas, which haven't been affected by the earthquake and tsunami, but the flights there and back go through Narita... ![]()
The MotoGP race at Motegi that's scheduled to take place next month has also been postponed. I wonder if the rebuilding will take its toll on the economy the way it has in NZ.

I read about that; deplorable doesn't even begin to describe the sheer boorishness of their behaviour.
i could not believe the sheer.. words fail me...
i can't even begin to think where or how the hell they could think like that
