I thought I'd let you know that we've been finding some unique brands of biscuits and confectionery in our uni supermarket, like Fox's Biscuits (not the same co. as the one that makes mints). They've also started selling Red Rock Deli crisps.

let's see.. in this GE, i'm suddenly kicked out of Bukit Timah/Tanjong Pagar GRC, previously swallowed up from the Bukit Timah constituency.. and now i'm part of some kinda West Coast/dunno whatever gerrymandered constituency??
don't even know who the hell is running for the MP of this place

I think your place used to be Bt Timah in 2001, so it got absorbed into Holland. Prior to all these it was Tg Pagar.Now it should be West Coast.

Lornie Road is a few streets from my house (Bishan-Toa Payoh) and that's already Tanjong Pagar. Imagine that. RC office signs don't last more than 5 years these days before they need to be changed.

Tg Pagar took in parts of Bt Timah & MoulmeinIronically, because of their lower density housing profile, they tend to make these MPs i/c of a bigger area
It's like e old days, Dr Tony Tan took Marsiling where it covered Mandai & Marsiling in 1978.

My thesis project evaluation was scheduled for 7 May. Now we're wondering whether it will be held earlier or later, in light of the elections.

Fox think is from EuropeSeem it somewhere at those mum and pop shops

For my thesis oral defence, the prof who was evaluating me didn't seem to have either read my thesis or even paid attention to my presentation.....
He kept insisting that there was an important fact in my theoretical work that I didn't raise even though I had clearly stated it in both my thesis and my presentation.....
In the end, another prof who gatecrashed my oral defence actually defended me, saying that I did state that fact quite plainly and clearly. Mind you, this prof had never read my work before and didn't even have to be there except that he had nothing better to do that morning.
If it wasn't for that busybody prof, I'd have had a heart attack that day.
