Dang.... I almost forgot I've got a full medical checkup tomorrow morning......
About $90 for all the bells and whistles..... just making sure that all the gears and nuts and bolts in my body are tightened and well-greased, that's all....

Is this your annual physical?
S$90 for a full physical is an out-and-out steal! Is you health insurance picking up part or all of the tab?

maybe it's part of the uni/work thingy?
At last night's exam,
students like me flipped open the question paper and found that there were options A to F for each question.
Problem: The answer sheet only had options A to E.
Stand-in professor gave a call to my feverish prof, who on hindsight probably had a REALLY high fever.
Cos he said: If you think its option E, shade E. If you think its option F, shade E as well.

oh btw, I've been told by colleagues that the 2010 version of excel accepts unlimited rows instead of the 65k of the earlier version.

I make it a point to do that twice a year now.

It's a tie-up between the university and some private clinic in Orchard.
All staff and students can claim for a free basic checkup. They also offered a heavily-discounted price of $40 for an 'intermediate' checkup, and $90 for the full package.
I figured that since it's a one-off thing, I might as well sign up for all the bells and whistles. After all, the basic checkup is so basic that I can do it on myself during the next In-Camp Training.
Anyway, $90 is pretty cheap, considering that something similar might cost $300+ elsewhere.
my head hurts...
walked into a toxic cloud of insecticide on the way home coz the neighbour was fogging the shit out of his house
Hmmmm, I must cut down on appointments and do some exercise...
Been feeling sooo tired everytime I finish work... and I'm still wondering how could ppl still have enuff energy and attention to drive home...
I kinda figured out the answer was exercise...

haemorrhoids .......*howls ....

TMI!! TMI!!! ![]()
I remember reading that haemorrhoids can be alleviated by using.... squat toilets.
No sh*t (pun fully intended). Really.
According to some colorectal experts, the 'natural' position for defecation is the squatting position. The sitting position, on the other hand, forces you to exert a lot of pressure on your bowels to expel out all the trash.
One colorectal expert decided to make 20 haemorrhoid sufferers use squat toilets for a few days. 18 of them recovered fully. I'll try to find the link to that study if I can.
Seriously, try using squat toilets for the next days. No harm trying, yah?
maybe he should eat less meat and more veggies..
and stop drinking that non-freezing crap?
