I think voting for the opposition is hardly equivalent to cutting off one's LJ. -

that's why I say, there's the third way out.
if it's a hard choice between lunacy and sodomy, then don't make the choice. The law says you have to vote regardless, but the law can't make you vote for either side.
does it always have to be a rock and a hard place ? .... if you think the MIW's been inept in handling housing prices and foreign talents then don't vote for them, if you think the opposition are lunatics to want to scrap NS and what not you don't have to vote for them either.
cos like I said, a vote for the either side is really the equivalent of an affirmation for their ideas and policies. Would you exchange a sodomy by the MIW to the sodomy by the opposition ? It doesn't have to be either.

I wear jeans until they show signs of considerable wear. Usually the ankle seams are the first parts to wear out. If a hole appears anywhere, it means that it's time to get a new pair soon. One good pair can last me up to two years.
Anyway, even if I wear a pair of jeans that look worn, then's that only because of normal wear and tear over a long period of time.
I do NOT buy jeans off the shelf which look as though Wolverine has slashed through them and some dork has jizzed on them after watching Jap porno.

i don't either.. they come brand new and i wear them until they fall apart...
the "look" i had with the torn stuff and holes were legit hole from wear and tear.. in uni i actually had a leg fall off when i was out
that signalled a new pair to be bought..

True, once upon a time I did not look favourably upon the MIW, infact, once upon a time, I would even have voted for a smart chimpanzee rather than the MIW.

To put it in another way. If you think the MIW was assraping the country, you don't have to swing the other way and chose an assraping by the opposition either. Put in this way, do you not think this is a valid third option ? void votes percentages have been creeping up anyways.

In the past I was under Marine Parade.... the (un)holy Goh has his faults, but at least he seems less of a nutcase than all the others....

the next parliament won't be.
there'll be a minimum of 9 opposition MPs ..... regardless of whether they actually win a seat or not, the next 9 best losers would get in.That means that there would be a much bigger alternative voice in parliament, regardless.
frankly, i shudder at the prospect of some of the opposition types getting in. Some of these chaps have no compunction exploiting sensitive issues to get cheap support.
