Following his logic, I can correlate the cost of Katong laksa to John McCain's toilet habits while in Michigan. After all, if John McCain has diarrhoea ==> a Michigan reporter might spot it and assume the worst ==> bad news reports come out ==> panic buying on NYSE ensues ==> oil prices rise ==> cost of rice noodles go up ==> Katong laksa becomes more expensive.

I did my best to keep my wedding costs as low as possible. Void deck weddings are anathema to me, but I decided upon it since it promised the lowest venue rental of all.
But it still took a significant hit on my finances nonetheless....
