I wont complain if not for the fact I'm made to do the same things as temp staff and they are paid higher than I am.

Just see it as a means for getting valuable working experience which may prove useful in the future.
Anyway, is this an official internship for which you can claim modular credits?
When I did my internship, I registered it under my faculty's vacation internship module. In one fell swoop I got a vacation job, window dressing for my resume, and 1 1/2 modules' worth of modular credits. I also got a nice testimonial from my manager.
Yeah, the pay stank ($600/month), but you gotta look at the bright side of things.
Nah...the issue isn't to do with the pay.
I willingly took it up with the understanding that I would have access to information and some key things I had expressed interest in learning.
Disappointingly, I was kept out of it and am no better than a part-timer now.
And no. My internship not compulsory....but I am doing it now in the hope it would help me secure a better one the next round.
Spoke to a debtor for 20 min....he had so much things to complain about banks these days.![]()

short assignment dun actually reflect anything... It'll just clutter ur resume I think... unless ur resume is really really empty...

yeah well....the idea is to try to use the brand-name of the firm I'm at now...it isn't exactly unknown. then next year I try my luck with the big boys.
and not really cluttered......bcos this is the first internship I secured yet. the past couple of stuff were just admin jobs....nothing to mention.
