hehehe...i started my bak chang oddysey last monday! the red bean + gula melaka one - awesome coz it was made by one of my relatives.

Any case, newspaper reported it took as bad as 7 hrs for cars to clear JB customs all thks to the fingerprint.

Coach took 3 hrs to clear wo.I think 2nd Link got blackout ytd somemore, though it became random scanning of thumbprint.

she only brought 2 types - plain and plain+red beans, both are supposed to dipped into gula melaka -

Man, this is crazy.....
I was going to sign up for the Singapore International Water Week. I dutifully filled up all the details....... until the payment checkout section stopped me cold.
They accepted three forms of payment:
1. Cheques (I shut down my chequeing account thanks to a massive fiasco I had with DBS last year)
2. Telegraphic bank transfers (last I checked, this was for overseas bank transfers)
3. 'Payment by invoice' (what, they'll send me an invoice and I pay them on the spot?)
I've just fired off an email to the organizers asking: 'Why can't you guys just use PayPal or online credit card payments like what you did in previous years?'

Yes it does!
Biking there was absolutely enjoyable!
But biking TO THERE from the nearest rental I knew of (Bishan) was a different story...it was challenging even for me, going by Thomson Rd.
