PAP Times reported abt Hong Kong's MTR & Taipei's MRT system.
Seriously, Taipei's MRT is far far better than SMRT. trains arriving 4 - 5 mins for those busy lines during the off peak hrs.
evening folks

Eh... Upnorth's OBC said a man should have 4 wives...
probably leave in about an hour or so
Open Net hooking up my house tomorrow i wonder.. with some of the plans offered, does anyone really need a 1Gbps connection?
right now, i'm on a basic 3Mbps line and i'm pretty happy with no lag on YouTube, no lag on live streaming, and i can listen to the radio stations over on iTunes nicely..
the slowest over fibre is 25Mbps... i'll probably hook up a wifi setup or use the power cables with the plugs for the 2 or maybe 3 computers in the house.. and if split equally, it's still about 8.3Mbps per unit.. which is fast as hell for the basic stuff we do...
which one should i get since only M1 has the 25Mbps.. the other two have 50 as their minimal
M1 - 25Mbps for $39 a month
Singtel - 50Mbps for $59.90 a month (with free home digital line)
Starhub - 50Mbps for $56.90 a month (free home line)
which one?
if Singtel, i may be able to get them to let me keep the extra free USB stick which comes with the current plan so i can be mobile again (my dad uses that now)
decisions decisions...
ah bear, install le, need to wait for 1 mth before you can subscribe

i know... just wondering because i still have over a year left on my Singtel 3Mbps subscription.. which i'm not in a hurry to change because that's all i need at the moment..
it's just that i have a fixed line to my lappie, dad uses the USB stick thingy for his work on his iMac, mom doesn't have connection on her netbook although she doesn't use it much...
i'm just looking at the possibilities when it's time to sign another 2 year or whatever subscription
Good evening.
I took a long bus ride after my 8 hr lesson.
I woke up groggy, walked home half-dead.
Then I entered my home, my mom showed me something that shocked the daylights out of me.
Her HP battery was bulging!![]()
My guess was that the battery is now (obviously) defective and overheating warped it to the current state.
pretty common.. the battery should be changed else it'll start to leak...
the mobile phone shops call this a "pregnant battery"
I had never encountered that before...
My SE battery alr 2 years....still no problem.
But that particular Nokia batt already lasted since end of 2006. Nearly 5 years.............(!).....ok, that figures.
And as for open-net....I'm now on the 50MBPS plan.....upgrade from the 3MBPS.....downloading textbooks illegally has never been this fast.![]()
i might go with the Singtel one if they let me keep my USB stick
Gaddafi's "arrested" son struts around Iraqi streets

That TJS is holding his rally right now. Nothing he says can hide the fact that he jumps from platform to another whenever it suits him.
it's the same with politicians the world over
he'll probably stand as independent in next GE if he does not get it.
