  remebered landing on some beach when i was a boy scout.spent only 45 mins there .dug out lots of lala and put them in 5 buckets  as scoutmaster then told us.wow,,,,so much lala.vowed to go back there but didnt exactly know where the place is!!!didnt finbd any cockles pr any seafood.wow that place is a seafood haven!remebered looking at the sand.then i see lots of water shooting out from sand!and thats where i dug!!!they should preserve that region and the clams!!!i went around there trying to figure out where exactly it is but somehow all i saw were swamps and dirty polluted places that arent even beaches!

  where is PD?i know its punggol as i was in sarimbun island for 2weeks everyday and night.

  i didn't enjoyed PD on the 2 times (or 3) i was there. prefer the east coast or sabah.

  Reminds me of Desaru....

  It was a promising getaway spot for both Singaporeans and Johoreans, but eventually it simply faded away into obscurity.

  I enjoyed PD many years ago when I was a child

  Now I prefer East Malaysia beaches

  As it is a weekday I think catering is better. Just stick to the Halal caterer and we will bring the Non-Halal stuff seperately 

  I will be bringing a Chocolate Guiness Cheesecake as well

  Anyway we can forget about harvesting clams from the beach these days

  Yeah, but a pilgrimage site for anglers was certainly not what Desaru's planners had in mind.... they were at least thinking along the lines of Penang or Langkawi.

  Even the Malaysia traditional brewed ones are much darker and stronger flavoured to what we get here.
