In other news, another metal part fall off the MRT viaduct at kin mng tai (Clementi)... LTA & SMRT says of implementing installation of netting as a stop-gap measure...
But I guess the weight of the new PRC made trains is creating problems now.
That's what it is - just a stop-gap measure. Don't they have the guts to close the line for a few hours to do engineering work?
Something didn't feel right in those new trains the moment I grabbed those extra-thick handlebars.
each night there's some 3 or max 4 hrs to do the job...
Unless we shut it on weekends...

They quite probably can't.
All of these seems to be due to accumulated problems.
MRT is still crawling through the tunnel at Kembangan.

Then bite the bullet, do what it takes and take the criticism for not doing more earlier as it comes. Is it that difficult?
2601: I suspect the problem is at the bends..
TradeHub21 is also another bend area..

That's the problem I guess w/ people today..
Not decisive onto deciding matters...
evening guys. been veg-ing at home for most of the day except for a spot of brekkie in town.
I spent 6 hours worrying about life and thinking that life is surreal.
evening
Seriously...
How on earth the new MRT trains from cardboard can weigh 900kg more per carriage...
Ever since the cardboard trains appeared, all sorts of problems appeared..
Even MTR Hong Kong is not spared.

Don't even know why they ever trusted cardboard things and goods in the first place. This is just the natural result.
Frankly, I also wouldn't mind if they just shut the whole system down for one Sunday, do all the repairs and overhauls they need in that 24-hour period, and have a reliable, functional system on Monday morning.
Unfortunately, there will always be people who b*tch about the necessity of doing that, not realizing that no system is truly perfect. I suppose these are the same people who whine about having to mop their floors once in a while.
After all, we have this retard who whined about MRT track maintenance at 3 am. What, he wants track maintenance at 3 pm?
i don't mind if they even shut it down for a few days and fix the thing...
we could all do without parts flying off trains and killing people, trains derailing, and worse... and it's not something that can be fixed with a few zip ties
Agreed, but I prefer if they close it on a weekday though. Don't disturb people's precious leisure time.
Good evening ^_^
not sure if i should go earlier to work, or later to work since i park at Expo..
earlier.. so i can get in to the car park and find a park..
or later.. so that the people there would have left
got bullied by fish today .... again ...
they should declare 3 days holiday while they fix the trains
All the mrt trains damn stressed.
so glad to have made it thru monday - this is always the toughest work day for me
