In other news now I know why I'm so damn bogged down with work this sem.
The provost revealed in his blog that he intends to spread the score weightage away from the final exam.
It was with good intention.
But with a catch.
He wants to basically kill me with projects and assignments and mid-term tests and final exams in 13 weeks!
How can it be learning when I have to put down all my things literally just to settle this and that every week?
I would rather a heavier weight on final exams if I am to learn effectively! Hence I disagree very much with parents who prefer less weight on final exams.

Its a terrible irony that it can take longer to travel within NUS than from Serangoon to Kent Ridge.
God knows what the higher-ups thought when they built that stupid place called Utown that turned the whole place pear-shaped.

today, it took longer for me to get from T3 to BT than it took me to get from Clementi to the airport

I mean seriously, I've been based at NUS for eight years.....
...... and I don't give a *toot* about the internal shuttle buses apart from the fact that they get me from point A to point B in NUS without me having to pay a single cent.
And yes, talking bus, I agree that Shuttle D is retarded, but again, the only reason I care is because I have to go from the Engineering faculty to the Science faculty regularly.
Really, I find it very hard to comprehend bus nuts.

He mentioned some half-ass tried to smuggle 20 LIVE BIRDS in his jacket.

I'd ever seen A1's nonsense at Kent Ridge, buses can be stucked at bus stop for 2 mins... But it's normally because got ppl wanna alight and the kids are just squeezing into every inch

While KB feels excited about F1, I have made the switch to BTCC.
Admittedly slower, but heck, its got more drama.
Not to mention plenty of different types of cars to follow.
Its even got Proton!

If it's on one of the cable channels I'll follow it. Even with MotoGP and WRC I still have spare weekends. I'd like to start on WEC as well.

I just watch them off youtube...house non cable tv yet.
I love how the different strengths of each car comes to play.
Beginning of each race, the rear-wheel cars usually start better and overtake, but then the front-wheel cars warm their tyres faster and then regain places, and the from half-way point, the rear-wheel cars start charging from behind as the front-wheel ones overheat their tyres and slow.
And there were the dramas last year of turbo vs normal aspiration. And all kinds of nonsense where teams experiment with various fuel and as incentives, were allowed to boost the power a little more as compensation.
Things came to a head in 2010 when the LPG powered Ford team held the speed back during test and appeared in the race with a 7mph speed advantage over everyone else and trounced everyone.

If it was going to turn into pandemonium like the one in New Delhi last year (equipment failure forcing a cancellation and "fans" invading and destroying the set) then it's for the best.
