With proper maintenance, the trains shouldn't be breaking down like this. The system can't run at maximum load all the time just to line shareholders' coffers.

Every time I think of SMRT, my blood boils, and I feel like flying into a berzerker rage.
Seriously, I no longer feel safe taking the MRT.
This engineer would have never sanctioned the use of cable ties..... when the COI found that cable ties still failed to hold the claws, I seriously felt the urge to write a mocking 'I TOLD YOU SO' email to SMRT with an image of Obviousman attached.

evening I smell that there's really no proper reporting on the MRT railway defects etc... The 3rd rail problem alrdy surfaced in March 2011, yet LTA didn't realise it... Even now it seems (maybe true or not), they wanted train restored ASAP when it was a problem waiting to strike

watching Equator now on BBC Knowledge.. the guy is going through the equator right through Africa.. within a fortnight, he was strickened with malaria...
he's now somewhere in Congo and in the middle of a bullfight where bulls fight each other... one of the bulls charged the crowd and a guy got smashed and ended up with a broken leg... the guy who was smashed was the son of the organiser of the bullfights
