I'm a non-expert and I actually believe that duct tape will work better
I use cable ties to hold my tank pump and it will loosen after some time even with the mild vibrations.
Also seriously no matter what there will be a tiny gap with cable ties and the thing will slip!
How can it be used for the tracks!!!
