They've updated the Circle Line map..
kns... They're really splitting the train to terminate alternatively at Marina Bay & Dhoby Ghaut...
So that means the trains at Esplanade will be even less frequent after part of the train plies to Marina Bay.
But it may mean shorter waiting time at my side.

But what's interesting is how the off peak ops would go.
Basically this is what happens on Jan 14...
After the Circle Line trains reaches Promenade station from Paya Lebar..
Say your train heads to Dhoby Ghaut, it'll then head to Esplanade, Bras Basah & Dhoby Ghaut.. The next train will head to Marina Bay via MBS...
The 3rd train will be to Dhoby Ghaut and so on..
So if you're heading to MBS and the train is intended to Dhoby Ghaut, alight and wait for next train and vice versa..
I think the off peak freq is 4.5 mins, 9 mins beyond Promenade
