  No more than 2 hrs.

  Fighting against the super smart PRC and Indians is draining my life-force at the moment.

  And having profs who treat us like little kids make it worse.

  Eg. Walking around to see if we do our weekly homework.

  Yeah, I am very aware of that.

  One way to get around that would be group discussions.

  I think I have enough students to do that now.

  Otherwise I used to sit at the back and made the students write the relevant stuff on the whiteboard and teach in my place.

  Speaking of tuition, my tuition kids' mom just messaged me, saying that they were all going to overseas tomorrow for the whole week (i.e. no tuition for this weekend and the next).

  Not that I mind them going overseas, but couldn't they tell me this much earlier? Then I could have easily scheduled other stuff over the weekend.

  After all, you don't plan a weeklong family vacation the very day before you leave, no?

  My student pulled stunt on me before.

  He did not inform me about his holiday and I spent a miserable 1 hr at the centre watching people desparately trying to call him as I expressed my displeasure.

  I didn't have to chew him out though.

  I think my branch manager screwed him and from then on, no more such nonsense.

  I've got half a mind to do the same thing to them before going off to Melbourne next month.

  That is, wait until the very last day before I go, then inform the family.

  But nah.... I really can't bring myself to do that.

  Apparently I wasn't supposed to put their plates and utensils on the non-muslim trays when I am done.

  Perhaps you can check that out. They make decent food.
