  I think the SMRT is in denial mode. They said the maintenance cost had kept up with usage after factoring in the train upgrading. Eh the upgrading was mostly to interior layout.

  Actually so many varieties of rice in the market these days it's not funny

  old rice now a lot of brand..

  but new rice not many ppl bring in one.. I think only Song He, Golden Pineapple & Golden Phoenix.

  Anyway I still remember last time hear aunties at NTUC complain rice cook le very dry... Say rice lousy...

  I say, wrong... It's rice too old alrdy, need to add more water for that packet of rice.. Or mix w/ some new crop rice.

  They were surprised... lol

  got... ghost comprain le... reply was they had "prodessional engineers" to certified it's safe... and they really typo write "prodessional"...

  but ytd when I walk pass I saw ppl with some equipment there, no idea if from LTA or wat, but they are doing testing with vibrations...

  It's like ppl cook brown rice say very dry and hard not nice

  Add more water la -_-" and cook longer. Brown rice need more water and a longer cook time anyway

  if i eat rice (which is super rare) and if there are choices...i would go with wild rice, maybe even red rice or basmati.
