I hated Econs back in JC.
I failed every essay test (and many MCQ and data-response tests) in JC 1 and nearly dropped the subject.
In JC 2 I somehow managed to claw back up.
Its not hard to see why.
My students are so weak fundamentally, everything also memorise.
I just have to attack their assumptions (which they also any-oh-how use), and they get confused and everything falls apart.
I like to think myself as multi-disciplinary, liking the hard and soft sciences equally.![]()
I liked JC physics and chem and I found that even today, I use all I have learnt pretty often when I read science journals.
Some of the new exam questions in my day required a little lateral thinking. All one had to do was to adapt and apply the concepts that were learnt. I could do it easily for chemistry, but not for further maths.
i liked maths in high school; "playing and working with numbers"...not so much science
I always sleep during maths class but still manage to produce As on both my maths when exams come...
While we're on that subject, you can't make this up:
Texas Republicans oppose the teaching of Critical Thinking skills
And as it turns out, the $600 fee was a special price offered by the photographer. He originally charges people $200 an hour.

Like I said, if you don't have a conscience and can live with the thought of ruining someone else's wedding memories, anyone can go into wedding photography and make easy money.
It's really up to the customer to distinguish the honest photographers from the bloodsuckers.
