Met up with a friend who was back from Oz last night with MPB
She was telling us her nightmarish holiday in Hong Kong filled with PRCs
I had a few unpleasant encounters with them in Taiwan too. Needless to say, the nasty ones cheese everybody else off no matter where they go.
i know....it's the worst at shopping malls, especially the upscale ones

And they wonder why the whole world hates them
On that travelling note, what is wrong with intending to get to Indonesia for my grad trip, if any is planned? My peers went smlj went I informed that if they were going to places like EU, I'm not coming along because of budget issues.
And on a completely unrelated news, I went for a run in the full afternoon heat to find out what happened to me on IPPT. Turns out that I must have been complacent or something, because I know now from this run, that I am at my fittest again, like 2 years ago.

Nothing wrong with that. Indonesia has plenty of wicked sights like Prambanan, Borobudur, Mount Bromo and tonnes of beaches and coral reefs.
It's nice to do the long haul trips when you're young though, because you might not have the energy or the time for them when you're older or working.

I believe in travelling with a real purpose other than being able to say, "I've been there too." One gets the feeling that people are doing it for the purpose of showing off on their social networks, and that's truly stupid.
Personally, I go to places if there are foreign friends to meet or make or if there's a special occasion. But if there's no compelling reason to do on a graduation trip, don't take one.
All teh energy from monday is gone... Feels like I've went thru a week without rest >__>

Ppl in Johor going for holiday may be kpkbing. A stronger S$ means more expensive air tickets as most board the plane at Changi.

communist peasants exists in all countries.even in australia u are able to discover that quite a few are really communist farmer types who do it for their community.
Something my cousin posted on his FB wall:
Excerpt from table tennis news at the 2012 Olympics: SINGAPORE's Feng Tienwei battled past GERMANY's Wu Jiaduo...next opponent might be SPAIN's Shen Yanfei..." Is there anything the Chinese does not export?
No matter how you look at it, it's all PRC, PRC, PRC....

wonders why on earth they send people out overseas for?audits?suspects most sporeans dont trust aussies standards as its prone to corruption and theft within its organisation with no possible traces if they have no iso standards..i know australian side most companies never heard of ISO9000 system on wards but they have carbon tax and enviroment laws.
but for china ,i notice they have iso9000 system on its website for companies.

my friend had the option of going to westpoint or KL for his 1-year army-i-can't-remember-what-course. he chose KL. his rationale: westpoint or any western military school would be great for classroom but the out-of-classroom experience in KL or Jakarta would have been much richer.
