I feel the same way too about the people in my office block who use the lift to get to the next 1 or 2 floors. Not a single one of them was carrying anything bulky or a baby.
Oh yeah, that gets my goat too.
I get riled up when empty-handed, able-bodied people summon elevators from ten floors away just to go up one level.
The exercise is good for you, lazybums.
And in the time it takes the elevator to get to them, they might as well have just walked up the stairs.

you should have seen the scene at the airport escalator - loads of able-bodied men/women Q-ing and me carrying a roller bag going up the adjacent stairs...made it to the immigration faster

15 more days to Legoland at truly asia…
U know, I'm not exactly interested in legoland at truely asia...
but I wonder how much will the Legoland bring to Msia... will it be worth the cost?

how's this for lazy?
guy summons the lift to go down 1 floor at the airport.. when the escalator was just about 5m beside the lift...
he is clearly able-bodied.. while waiting, he sits down on one of the chairs there...
i was kinda stunned at how lazy some people can get

It's hard to top the bus stop princesses. If they're waiting at the far end of the shelter and their bus is behind another, they refuse to walk to it. They stick out their arms and wait for it to drive another 10m to where they're standing.
Oh, wait, they were standing.
Feeling extremly sleepy after lunch >__>
had a short 40min nap ![]()
now coffee
I managed to touch base with big shots and now have an opportunity to make a deal with them about supporting my research.
Stressed.
Now I have to make sure my meeting with them goes picture-perfect.
And while I'm here.
Is KB around?
I think I saw you leaving a Jap restaurant last evening at Tanjong Pagar....but I was too faraway to confirm that.![]()

It was me, I dined at Tonkotsu King yesterday evening.
It looks crowded.
Was it good?
yes i understand ...

And we are not talking about old or infirm people - these are mostly fit and healthy undergraduates that we're talking about.
And surely standing for 1 km over undulating terrain in cramped conditions (during afternoon peak hour traffic) is hardly any better than a short flight of stairs leading to comfortable seats.
I tell you, admissions standards have dropped. We are admitting people into university who are academically smart but still do not know how to use their brains properly.
The situtuation at peak hour is horrible as ever.
Before KR MRT, 95 was crowded.
After KR MRT, they cut back the frequency and the 95 remained just as bad.
They put double-decks there....but to what effect is what fudge saw.![]()

It was GOOD. I ordered another bowl of plain noodles on top of the Black Spicy Ramen, but many of the other diners ordered plain. I waited about 15 minutes, they take your order in the queue so it's ready at the same time that you get your seat.
Ok. That does sound like a place I'll check out soon.
sounds good. let me go google the place and see what else they have. is the Q-time long?
