  As I guessed, my prospective employer totally forgot about my request for a meet-up.

  I'm finding it hard to find a job.

  I get the feeling that employers think I'm overqualified.

  Seriously, I don't mind a fresh grad position as long as I'm given the opportunity to prove myself.

  Yeah... I have spoken to quite a few people who are like that..

   

  This problem also occurs in the past when Singapore is not so well off, and it is still around when we are more prosperous...

  what jobs/industries are you looking at? when does your course finish? or are you already done?

  Currently in my final semester.

  Just touching up my thesis, preparing for the oral defence, that sort of thing.

  I've already started sending out my CV. I just want a hands-on engineering job.
