Apple is a triumph of marketing, not engineering.
They have shown that it is possible to make a killing by selling an inferior product if you package it nicely.
All those iSheeps queued outside Apple stores overnight just to buy a broken product. Apple has claimed that their Maps app is still a work-in-progress, but then that means that all those iSheeps pretty much paid good money to be beta testers.
Honestly, there is no reason for Apple to drop Google Maps apart from corporate pride. Shucks man, they should just suck it up, admit that Google has a much better maps app, and allow it to be released for iOS6.
Heck, there's no reason for not including a memory expansion slot apart from forcing people to shell out good money to them for a model with more memory. They would just rather charge $100 more for an iPad with more built-in memory than have their customers pay $20 to SanDisk or Kingston for a microSD card.

well, the Nexus 7 pulled the same stunt with no SD card slot too, forcing people to buy the 16GB version... but it's loads cheaper! ![]()

Which is just too bad, because I was otherwise really impressed at the specs of the Nexus 7.
My Galaxy Tab 7.7 has only 16 GB of built-in memory.
But no biggie for me - I just went off to Sim Lim the next day and bought a 32GB microSD card.
Voila - I tripled the total memory space to 48 GB for just $20. ![]()
btw.. there may be a shortage of iBlocks

Look at what arrived in the mail: $14.40++ for 2 nasi lemak and drinks… and that's after a 51% discount
*Hears chopping noises*
It'll be very sad if in the future we have to pay these prices to enjoy good local cuisine.

I'm more amazed at the fact that over 360 people bought it.
I hope they're all expats, because I would sadly shake my head at locals who think that they should pay that kind of price for 'authentic' nasi lemak.
But I really see little future for hawker food. Many of the new stallowners are recent migrants from the mainland or young chaps selling upmarket versions of local dishes/dumbed down versions of exotic cuisine.
