The last time they rejected my paper, they said 'Please include figure captions in the main text'. Which I did, in the locations where the figures are supposed to appear.
Now, they rejected it yet again, saying 'Please include figure captions in a list at the end of the main text'.
Okay, that's it..... I'm gonna go flip some tables......
Flip, flip, FLIP! And demand for a definitive guide for whatever style they're asking for.

I emailed the editor who has been going back and forth with me.
I told her straight that I'm sick of this tennis match, and I just want one single comprehensive critique of my paper before I submit yet again.
But seeing as how it's nighttime in the US, I'm going to have to wait until tonight to hear back from her.
I swear, other research journals have never given me this nonsense.... even if there were formatting issues, they would critique the content first instead of just sending it back to me.

Oh die.
I shouldn't have given in to my itchy hands and edit the registry in the com to hunt down some of the virus.
Now the browers are all crashing and I miraculously got my firefox to work.
In a very bad fix now.
VERY BAD one.

Use CCleaner and use the registry to scan for issues. It is safer and fast.

Wow, that debate between the VP candidates was feisty, unlike the first debate last week between Romney and Obama.
I think what I did to my com is irrepairable....at least from my com-illiterate stand-point.
Thankfully I managed to get my IE to work long enough to install firefox, while my chrome is totally crashed and burning now.

Just an ugly reminder of the literal dark side of SG, a good friend got groped near her place after makan session.

Thankfully nothing more happened although she fumed about how she should have "kicked his balls" instead of whacking his face with her laptop.

we were discussing the oratory skills of some of the past presidents, hopefuls etc during lunch. clinton, obama are good orators, even mrs clinton - i was really impressed during her speech at the senate confirmation. on the republican side - maybe bush senior (?), reagan (well, he's an actor). bush junior fails miserably.
notice the theme? the good ones are lawyers...well, they could spin words for sure.

To this day, I have an axe to grind with the American people for putting Dubya into power.
Dollars to donuts say that Gore would have done a better job.
That last statement was purely hypothetical, but seriously, I can't see anyone else making a bigger mess than Dubya. Okay, besides Nixon.
