Idiotic 34 year old man claims that a bomb will explode at a 'Singapore marathon'
Bloody idiot. And he really cannot use the 'I was only joking' defence..... lots of wannabe jokers around the world (Singapore included) have been tossed in jail for making jokes like this.
And before anyone says that the police is overreacting..... imagine if a bomb were to really go off, and it transpired that someone had indeed posted it beforehand on an online forum.

your relatives upnorth got any news about the upcoming elections?
i heard got a lot of dirty tricks, and there is some violent incidents which were covered up and the people in the capital are kind of tense about the results because the incumbents are useless and corrupt and the opposition is also as bad so the people feel there is no good result to be had...
i also heard people are stockpiling foodstuff in case of trouble..
i hope it's not true...

This extreme never hear... but people are still reminded of 513... There's a case mata arrest ppl as they were so called paid to dismantle/ remove their rival party's flag etc... then now so many roadblocks everywhere by their mata.. for dunno what reason.. The opp still do quarrel... but at least ar, they can still manage to run some of the states... ppl wonder is what abt at federal level... -
alrdy my relative saying... the younger capable ones are running alrdy... to UK, Singkie land, Oz etc...

but how do you think things will go there.. the middle people like very fed up with both sides.. while the supporters of each side become more and more vocal
