Then again, as Bear pointed out, there are plenty of supposedly poor people out there who are where they are because of extremely poor financial prudence or outright apathy.
I kinda recall a case in the news where a family had to stay in a tent at East Coast Park because the father turns down job offers and the mother smokes two packs a day (do the math....that's ~ $600/month).
People like that are not fit to be parents and they should have their kids taken away from them by whatever-the-new-ministry-is-called. What a waste of the social workers' time.

what if he is just listening to the movie? it is very tiring and boring driving the same bus route everyday, cant the SL have some company? better than he dozing off at the wheel right?
even train drivers play games, eat, watch movies while on duty.

The account is not particularly reliable I guess, or we would have rat it out perhaps if our train drivers really do that.
Nonetheless you can see that safety isn't quite the top priority for some.
And that's a cause for concern.
