monk fish from oceania tastes different from those found in mediteranean and european waters,,,,not realy nice rom oceania.alaskan crabs were fished out from antarctica..taste different from those found in Alaska.however this time the crab they tasted more crabby n nicer..usually it would taste like salted tissue paper.

I just had this on Sunday with air-dried beef. Combine them with homemade walnut bread and pickled onions for a high-class cheeseburger.

Edited: Hmmm, the price is on the high side though, totally off budget... Perhaps scheduled for mid of the year...
On the side note, between French and Italian, I know that pasta, ravoli belongs to italian but what abt French Cuisine?
Do we have any decent French Cuisine in SG with decent prices? (not fine dining plz)

I had fish soup, Pork knuckle and finished off lunch with strawberry juice for lunch...
And yes, despite 10 hours of sleep ytd, I'm seriously suffering from food coma... even after a double chocolate cookie + coffee from subway... >____>

You can order without air-dried beef for around $10. They have lots of nice items off the menu like veal Zurich with rosti and barley soup.
La Petite Cuisine, The French Stall and Saveur are all affordable establishments that serve French cuisine.

The French Stall... Little india area...I was thinking abt the Black Sheep but the limited menu might be a put off to my dinning partners... (Alright, I admit I thinking abt the Black Sheep due to their Baked Brie cheese >__<)
Saveur sounds familiar... my brain is under food comatose right now, but still Saveur rings a bell...

Purvis Street. Go early, it still attracts long queues. I wouldn't consider BBBS French.

The one at St. Regis... I will go there once in awhile for brunch... but it's damn expensive $130++ (without champange) but it's really good...
