Oh, u're mistaken...
I have a "To-Eat-List" and another "Must-eat-before-kick-the-bucket-list" ![]()
my to-eat-list are mostly my cravings ![]()
The newspapers highlight all athe sordid details, but I'm more interested to know about whether there really was corrupt intent and how it's defined. And is the professor being persecuted for his work?
In other news, The Married Men have been fired by 91.3 FM for an inappropriate prank.
I say good riddance to them. Pranks are distateful enough; like I have said before, there is never such a thing as a altruistic prank. When you do a prank, it is always at the expense of humiliating or belittling someone else.
This prank, however, just takes the cake. Apa ini telling the woman to 'only hit children from poor families, because rich expat families can sue her'?
And for all those who claim things like 'freedom of speech' or 'Singaporeans have no humour', I say this: freedom of speech and a sense of humour does not give you the right to belittle others.

I've never listened to them nor cared much for the gags and gimmicks that some DJs add to their show. Banter alone can be amazing with good DJs.
It's a new week, and I begin life without my servant of 3.5 years, having switched to a Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone.
welcome to the bandwagon...
firstly, u need to knock some sense into ur smartphone or it'll be still as dumb...

So far so good. It doesn't always synch with the web after I read my e-mail and FB notifications but it's no big deal. And the phone's heavy and sturdy enough for me to use as a weapon if someone wants to relieve me of it.

probably Nokia 3210 will still win ![]()
Let's not go to the era of those large black phone with outside antenna and sturdy enuff that can be used to crack open crabs ![]()

For now? Yes. Ask me again in a month or 2. On the contrary I found Android's interface annoying when I used it on my dad's and sister's phones.
For today I'm testing it to see how long it can last as a dumphone with a touchscreen, i.e. no 4G, NFC, bluetooth or even wifi connectivity. After that, how do I get into your Whatsapp groups? I've already installed it.
My first phone was a Nokia 3310.
Bought it after my A Levels while waiting for enlistment. I bought it with the first paycheck I got working at the 7 Eleven near my house.
I still have fond memories of that dinosaur phone.

There is actually a Facebook app that makes it seem as if you posted your status using that phone. I remember when it was the dominant phone on the market.

and like 9gag says, it was almost indestructible

Firstly, most of us turns off wifi, NFC, bluetooth unless we needed... Next is ur screen brightness. Our sony phone with bravia engine are battery suckers but we do have the most vibrant screen compared to the other phones, we lose out to S3 on the complete blackness and certain light bleeding but vibrancy Sony still best :D
Next is Whatsapp, WA (whatapps for short) is a app which does msging like SMS... 1 to 1... but u can create a group, invite ppl into the group or get other to invite you into their group but it doesn't function like facebook or twitter...
Meaning U cannot search for groups and such... think of it as something like IRC...

There is an element of truth in this meme.... from personal experience the 3310 could certainly take a lot of punishment.
Even though smartphones are now allowed in most army camps, I'll still bring my spare $60 dumbphone bought from 7 Eleven for reservist. It's far more durable, has much better battery life, and is far less likely to get stolen than my current smartphone.

So, if someone's running a group for us, he/she can add me now. I'll check it periodically as it's also a power sapper.

Back then, people complained about unresponsive keypads and wonky speakers on their Nokias, or the occasional failure to start up. Now they call that "indestructible".

I've send u a msg via WAat 10.34am. Did u receive it? could u try replying?
apparently u do not need to check it periodically becoz the push notification is constant "on"... U cannot turn off push notification for WA...
Meaning that you do not need to sync or watever you get messages (or unless your network lags or something)...
Hungry. ![]()
Got this pretty cheap at Queensway during lunchtime:

It cost me $50. It would have set me back ~ $80 elsewhere.
It sure is gonna be hell bringing it home on the MRT later. ![]()
At least you'll get your workout started and done in time for dinner. Is it normal to get one and not a pair?
Yeah.... 1x 12 kg is standard for beginners.
Double-kettlebell workouts are for really advanced jocks. Most people just stick to single-kettlebell workouts, increasing the mass as they get better at it.

The only issue I can see with that is you'll have little use for it when you move onto bigger weights, except for warm-ups and perhaps for your other half. Someone should've made stackable kettlebells.
