The flu medicine that the doctor give is quite potent. My running nose stopped but it has given me quite a bad gastric...

Just now, I went to McDonalds for an Egg McMuffin and coffee. I normally don't go there, but it was near-empty (I was the only one in the queue), and Egg McMuffins are less damaging than everything else on the menu (300 calories, plenty of protein).
I got my coffee, but I was told to sit down and wait for the Egg McMuffin. Ten minutes passed, and a queue formed. They all got served their breakfasts first.
I went back to the counter, but I was told to wait. Never mind that other people have already gotten their muffins before me even though I came first.
In the end, I decided to screw it and went off without my Egg McMuffin.
On hindsight, it was perhaps God's way of telling me to back off from fast food.

KB, I think this year WTCC might be BMW's. Specifically ROAL's Tom Coronel.
Of the 3 Chevy works drivers last year, it seems only Yvan Muller has got a drive. That means 2 of who's arguably the best touring car drivers out of the way (and I mourn that loss).
Tarquini on the other hand, will be developing the fugly Honda Civic, though that car has shown a lot of potential in last year races with Monteiro.
And of course I can't wait for Loeb and Citroen to make their appearance!

You should've insisted, i.e. be difficult, since other people got their McMuppets. Fast food costs a pretty penny these days.

BMW are on the up and up. Such a shame that Huff and Menu won't be driving.

Contrary to what people kept saying about the boredom of having the Chevy-domination in WTCC last year (yet again), I found it very entertaining.
Muller proved to be the hot-headed frenchman who had the pace, aggression, but not the zen. I think he would have won the 4th championship last year if he hadn't had so many penalties for hitting other drivers.
I think of the 3 drivers, Menu showed the best pace through the course of the year, but was beset by a whole host of bad luck, including being punted off by his team-mates more than once through the course of the year. Should have seen his face when Muller tried to apologise to him at Shanghai.
Huff was the most consistent and drove a canny race, racking up plenty of 2nd, 3rd places. Undoubtedly the biggest beneficiary of the woes of Muller and Menu, but also showed at times that he too, has the aggression and skill of his 2 veteran and decorated team-mates.
And boy, watching those Chevys carving up the field every reverse-grid race was just awesome. The Chevy Cruze is a really awesome chassis whose handling was really phenomenal and set a bench-mark no other team came close to beating over the last few years.
I think the independant Cruzes can also potentially challenge for the title this year actually if they get their acts together, especially after watching Colin Turkington carving his way through the pack at Shanghai at a one-off meet with a single WSR-prepared Cruze. Considering it was the first appearance in a Cruze, I think the car's balance must have been really really good!

Yeah, I basically forfeited an Egg McMuffin that I paid for.
But I decided to screw it, because I really had to go off to meet the prof. So much for fast food helping me save time.
As for the cost of the McMuffin..... I call it a lesson learnt about the different ways the fast food industry screws you.

This time it wasn't the company that screwed you. It was probably the servers, and they did a major disservice to other people working in a line that is already shown enough disrespect in Singapore.

the fucking SBST website is less than useless..
KNN keep asking me where i want to start from when i already key in the exact location and click on the fucking exact location.. then ask where i want to end up in, and when i fucking click on it, with the goddamned validation code (why the fuck would anyone need fucking validation code to plan a bus route??) it throws me back to where i want start from with some stupid location other than the one i keyed in!!
it's fucking useless!!

I know 48 and 170 go there.
Dunno about the rest.
Usually I just walk there from Bugis MRT.
Anyway, just use Google Maps for these things - they are for the most part highly accurate at giving routes using public transport.
