  Its not the number of votes but the number of states they win.
  Thus these people are so worried about swing states like florida
  while others are clearly on only one side ie Texas - Bush land
  
  Even back then Al Gore lost to Bush because of the no of states he's been voted for although his total no. of votes is higher than bush. He lost in florida where there was a lot of controversy over the voting ticket and such.
  
  Bush always trips over his words and is a zealot, and being replican, there are certain characteristics. Actually, Osama's appearance helped him.

  kerry win can iraq situation resolve itself overnight? If Kerry win I give you odds 3:1 he will not be able to pull substantial troops out of iraq. His hands will be tied by international community to stablize iraq.
  
  They say if a new president comes to office it normally takes at least 18months for the new administration to familiarise itself. the issues on the table are not only iraq, there's health care, jobs, taxes, economy and what not by the time the new president moves to handle iraq, the situation may already be way out of control already.
  
  Bush maybe he is not the best guy, but at least he and his administration already made all the mistakes so they already know the full story and what can or cannot work. Throw bush out and put kerry in is just giving him more chances to create problems.

  markets will rally then american soldiers will kill more terrorists, who will retaliate & oil, gold, commodities, raw materials will shoot up increasing cost of doing business which ends with recession.
