every r/s has a honeymoon period right?how long do honeymoon periods last? then whens the average period couples are most likely to break up or get bored with each other? 5 mths? 8 mths? -

It depends lor. If it gets bored for 5 or 8 months, then its a short term one. As for me, my honeymoon last about more than a year but the whole thing ends at the 2nd yr. 3 mths. after dat, u will find that they stop doing wat they used to do. Hmm... getting bored... 1 yr? It'll depend who is the bf n gf. Some get bored oni a mth. -
frankly, i dont see how does knowing this helps a relationship in any way.
why find statistic when no relationship is the same?
let's say most honeymood period is deemed to be 3 months. should you carry this fearful knowledge that your bf/gf is about to get bored of you three months down the road?
the key here is go with the flow.
let you yourself determine the duration of your honeymood period. -

hmm..dunno leh.
my honeymoon period lasted for 8months or so....then after that got frequent quarrels, after the quarrels, love each other more again...then honeymoon period again...then quarrel again....err..you get the idea.
but me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years le! hahahahaha! so amazing right. time passes so quickly! -
Does anyone really keep count of the time during these so-called phases of "honeymoon"?
If a relationship does fail as soon as this phase ends, then it's all for the better. Maybe there was nothing to start with in the first place. -
From my various buddy and friends cases, well, it all depends on age. It seems that the younger the couples, the shorter the duration of the relationsip. Of course, there are different cases too.
For the average 21 years old and above. I think..
1. Honey Moon (Foundation period) : half a year to 1 year
2. Not so Honey Moon period: 1 to 3 years (building rooms, walls, doors, windows... corridors and path)
3. Moving on Period: average from 3 - 5 years. That is to get married or not. Maybe it's me, but many of my friends broke up as they are not able to move onto the next level, i.e. marriage, family planning and so on.
(House deco.. layout.. colour schemes, renovations.. etc)
If nothing happens, well, one of them will starts to feel.. "Why build a house when there is no value and we are not moving in??"
