Diabetes pls help

My wife's mother got diabetes so I bought a blood glucose monitor but lost the instruction manual can anyone teach me how to use ? It's digital one below is the url of the blood glucose monitor which I bought . The doc told me that in order to be safe, insulin level must be higher than blood glucose level. Anyone got experience pls help there are numbers on the screen and I don't even understand.

err y not u bring the monitor to the doc along w yr MIL n let the doc advise from there?

well my mum uses it...anything that is higher than level 7 means you have high sugar in your blood...which means you are diabetic. You insert the needle into the thing and then adjust the number to 0.5 or 1. Tha is enough to prick your finger. Then drip the drop of blood into the film that collects the blood and insert it into the reader....then wait forawhile before you will get the reading. Remember....tell your mum-in-law not to eat or drink anything sweet the nite before and in the morning when you take the reading.
