  eh... i beg to differ.. from the documentries i watched and those studies which those scientist have done right.. lions are actually scavanger of hyena's prey. because they do not have better hunting ability then hyena. in the case that, they have weaker stamina.. ya.. so how can u expect a lion to win a tiger? while tiger hunts it's own prey? :X

  Tiger will win in a 1-1 fight.
  
  Tigers are much bigger and powerful than lions. These are truely fierce animals and very terrorial. They range mostly in asia, from Siberia to Indonesia.
  
  Lions depend on the female to hunt and they use the power of numbers to bring down the prey. The male lions are simply there to eat the female's hunt. ie Xiao Pai Lian. The lions are found in africa and parts of American continent.
  
  Tigers are truely beautiful and they are cleaner than Lions too.

  I once watched a funny show on discovry channel, it is called animal face off or something like that. the people make virtual battles of animals and judge who will win. i think in that show the tiger killed the lion, but i cant remember. also got once they showed crocodile vs shark. at first the crocodile bite the shark till the shark gonna die. then later the shark use its ultimate attack, the swim from below and bite the bottom combo and killed the crocodile in one hit. rofl.

  basically tiger will not fight with lion or in the other way round. because male tigers only fight with each other for their position or when they both approach the same tigress at the same time. lion never fight with other animals unless their family members are being attacked, they tend to protect their children. so... maybe its a tie when both tiger and lion fight. 50-50, arsenal and MU always win and lose as well. maybe my comments dun make sense hahaha

  hmm, male lion not really depend on the female lah. When the male becomes an adult, it will have to leave the pack to roam and feed itself, all alone. It is only after he gets a mate, then the female will hunt for him and family. Strangely, it is a very mcp type of thinking, the male lion gets the top priority to eat. However, i believe when the pack is endangered, the male is expected to protect the pack. They are also stronger than the female. Lions take food from hyenas' hunt possibly becoz the lions bully them Not becoz they lazy or watever, rather, all members of cat family believe in conserving energy.
  
  While most of the cats kill for food, tigers sometimes kill for no reason....

  well adult lions are generally larger than an adult tiger, therefore
  assuming they are of equal weight and size, say the lion is the size of a normal adult tiger, the lion will most probably be quite a small one therefore, tiger wins. If the tiger is the size of an adult lion, the tiger would be a giant tiger and therefore tiger wins again.
