well hv this fren whom experience girls (ya nwdays all look other partners wif cars- sometimes dunno girls like cars better than their own bfs huh)
only date guys wif only cars( u b surprised that even those age frm 18 look guys wif wheels--sigh). You wonder Where the essence "Love" come into this equation,she love metal wheels more or the person..any opinons?
btw, its seems not uncommon in our shores nw.. -

wat makes u think.. be it females or males.. get hitched solely on the reason of love? there r many other factors in the equation.. materialism, hunger for power etc.. 100% true love is too idealistic..

gradually they will feel that it is necessary for men to surpass them or to be at least on par with them.
however i don't think it applies to all women. there are still some who doesn't specifically go for men with 5Cs.
i haf a colleague who used to look out for men with cars... but each and every relationship somehow or rather ended quite abruptly.. now she is happily with someone who doesn't own a car and they have been together for a pretty long while now. -

It is not about love or car, it is about the fun of being able to explore new secluded places in Singapore and doing it right there?
It is about thrill and the fact of 'got car can travel'.....
women are too shy to be seen going out with a 'new' guy in trains and buses as they may run into familiar faces ma.......

I 50% agree. But take into account the cost of owning a car, I guess it is still to basics use money to get thrills albeit in this manner the thrills can be more cuz the car can go around.
It boils down in the end - MONEY. No money how to get thrills? No money how to eat? No money can live? -
Still, It seems like the majority of the female gender (no offence) tat we came across first:

Guy Ans: " I like but not a necessity as our local transport is best"

Well I am out of league with such information. Let those cheonging ppl inside here say. This times belongs to the 80's born ppl. Ppl my batch are mostly married or climbing up the career steps with other problems to tend to so where got time go cheong? -
locals here very status consciencious.
I got to know my bf when he does not have a car. Now I paid for his current car. Suddenly he realise his colleagues think he got lots of $ that's why he has car. People are "Shi Li" and he said they like repect him and treat him better. So its not just women. -

Car is a status symbol. Nowadays getting a car not that expensive it is the monthly payment and maintenance fees and fines that will squeeze a person dry. That is not counting if he/she is also paying for the house loan monthly too.
